Suzie Mitchell, President, President
Suzie Mitchell brings a wealth of experience to MRC. For more than 25 years she has served as principal of a national, full service public relations, public affairs, marketing research, polling, fundraising and political consulting firm. She has been at the forefront of advocacy issues, ballot initiatives and consumer education campaigns.
She has managed client communications campaigns from planning and development to execution and measurement. She has developed strategies and overseen the execution of grass roots public affairs projects. She works with CEOs, senior management, elected officials and consumers to develop issues dialogue.
She has served as press secretary for Michigan statewide campaigns and spent seven years as the Director of Public Information for Oakland County, MI. She has an extensive background in fundraising. She served as Michigan Finance Director and consultant for U.S Senate races, the Michigan Supreme Court and the Dean of the U.S. House former Congressman John D. Dingell, Jr. She also was the only Michigan woman to be named a Pioneer for the 2000 Bush for President Campaign, where she raised $100,000.
During the past few years, her passion for quality healthcare and her journalism background lead her to writing about technology and medical advances for chronic disease.
Her writings have appeared in numerous national and international magazines and newspapers. She's the co-author of several healthcare books aimed at medical technology and for Baby Boomers.
Her work as a healthcare writer has given her great insight into the growing need for medical marijuana for the aging population. She is a strong advocate for legal, safe and regulated marijuana.
